Outside of the bible there is no evidence that a man by the name of Jesus even existed. What you are talking about here is blind faith in something you cannot prove.

If you don't believe in God, Jesus, and everything in the Bible, you are willfully ignorant.

"i absolutely 100% believe in god, jesus christ and everything recorded in the bible.. the reason why is because of the overwhelming amount of evidence.. there is so much evidence that it has taken me years to examine what has cemented my own convictions.".

New Bethel Facility - Fort Lauderdale Remote Translation Office (RTO)
by daniel-p inhey all, it's been a long time since i've posted anything here.
this may be of interest to some people, or not.
and i'm not sure if this has been announced in the congregations, even, because thankfully i have not attended any meetings in quite some time.

Oh, wait! You've seen the masturbation video. Never mind.
Ha ha, I like the expression on his face.

inactive ones going back...
by monis1 ini have quite a big group of friends who were all in the cong together when we were teens.
about 75% of them stopped going or were df'd right after high school.
it is a varied group; a couple are staunch apostates, some dont care one way or another, and another handfull are fully "worldly", but still believe it is the truth.

I am sure like any event or natural disaster, there are those fence sitters that would jump back in. I recall going to a convention or special meeting after 9/11 and some elder that I have known most of my life said to me, "Funny how a couple of planes hitting some buildings makes people come back". I think that was my last time I attended a JW function. So if is motive was to turn me off of the cult he accomplished his objective.

Is this the start of a change of policy regarding individual JWs preparing internet pages.
by joe134cd inthis is a quote of a quote taken from anthoney mathenia:.
" for organizations like the watchtower, absolute control of their message is paramount.
it will not even allow its own adherents to spread their good news online.

You know nothing in that cult is done without the organzations approval. It is only a matter of time it is either taken down or comply to what the mother organzations says.

Is the Watchtower Intentionally Trying to Force People to Leave the Organization?
by kneehighmiah inthe leaks from the new november watchtower are alarming.
they will disturb even longtime jws who haven't surrendered all rational thought.
it's become so cult like its scary.

Aha....So the only way to learn about a religious organization is from that organization itself? So we can safely disregard everything the WTS says about Catholics, Mormons, Jews, etc.? Sweet.
Sir82, this point never came to my mind but the JW's are the first to attack organzations like the Catholics. Again a typical JW cult mind that they are right and everyone else is wrong.

Watchtower November 2014: Witnesses can't donate blood
by opusdei1972 inlet us read a recent watchtower publication:.
many medical professionals and other advocates of blood transfusion appeal to people to donate blood in hopes of saving lives.
however, jehovahs holy people acknowledge that the creator has the right to say how blood is to be treated.

I was told the great tribulation was going to start before 1975? My dad sold his house in 1974 to down size and get ready for the end of the system. A good elder brother bought it off of him and flipped it for a profit. I guess some didn't buy the BS but just used others for their own financial benefit. Is it a wonder why some of us have no use for this cult.

Nice to know you. Your brother in law sounds a lot like my ex brother in law. A self rightious piece of garbage. Still holy then thou yet most of his children are either disfunctional or no longer JW's.

I am sure I am glad I am now away from this cult. I was talking to my brother the other day and he made a comment that if you want to know about JW's , ask a JW not an ex JW, in otherwords to get only their side of the story. Although nothing was mentioned about the new policy on fence sitters. I am awlays careful what I say as I do not want to upset my elderly mother. Once she is gone I don't care if I ever talk to any of the JW family again.

Not just the JW's but every organization are always so quick to throw up the discrimnation card if things don't go their way. In this case it was an industrial area there should have been no way they should have got this approved.
